Snaggletooth! Soren has one tooth hanging down on the top, and one more just breaking through, which brings the grand total to six! He loves to chomp on things, biting pieces off of graham crackers, waffles, anything except veggies! His favorite new snack is pretzel sticks! When he's not chomping them he likes to suck them in like spaghetti!

Best. Haircut. Ever. Soren looks more and more like his dad every day!

Yesterday all the Albrights came over for brunch. Soren was so excited to see grams and gramps (and his aunts and uncle of course)! Soren wasn't quite sure what to think of the Wii playing. DDR was mildly amusing, bowling he didn't care about, but when Beth and Tom decided to box he was a little worried about his auntie, and watched her with a look of horror intermingled with some tears. Beth might blame her stunning defeat on the distraction of trying to reassure Soren, but I'm not so sure. She might have just gotten a plain ol' whoopin from her big brother. Here's gramps bowling. Can you see how excited Tom was?

My sweet boys at Minnehaha Falls

Ten months old! Soren is still fighting infections in his ears. Today we went back to the doctor and put him on a new antibiotic. He's a trooper though, and although the nights have been rough he's been better during the days. Here he is with his handsome new haircut! We are so excited for it to finally be feeling like spring! Today we hung out on the back porch for the first time since we moved in!
Soren's favorite new game is catch! He's got a wicked arm, but his aim isn't great.

Today we hooked up the bike trailer and rode down to the park! Soren loved the swing!
He also liked the bouncy teeter-totter!
Soren got his first haircut yesterday! Sadly we discovered once we got there that the camera battery was dead, but we got a pic on Isaac's phone. No more wings and baby mullet! He looks so handsome!

Today Soren and I went to the zoo. He loved loved loved seeing all the animals, which made for a nice break from all the screaming (more on that to come). His favorites were the giant aquarium and the baby farm animals. Here he is watching the fishies.... Here he's flapping his arms in uncontrollable delight.
At the farm
Soren thought the baby pigs were hysterical. He didn't find it as funny when I cracked a joke about being amongst his peers. He didn't get it.
The chickens were a little scary. They kept trying to peck his little fingers.
In contrast, here's what the past week or so at home as looked like, without baby animals to distract him.
At first we chalked it up to the cold he was recovering from, then a few days later we were saying it was probably the tooth working it's way sloooowly through on the top, amd then today I reached the end of my rope, and took him into the doctor practically in tears myself. Turns out he has another double ear infection. Oops. Now I feel terrible because he's probably had the infection for a week. Bad mommy!
